Week-ends...

Husband made a large batch of Rudi's Ham Hock soup this evening.

Neighbors dropped off a warm loaf of home made bread right out of the oven.

Daughter is home for the week end.
Life feels good right now.

Yummy on the ham hock soup and homemade bread, but AWESOME that your daughter is home! Oh how I remember those days when my only son (and only child) would come home from college for the weekend. I miss those days now that he's married and a dad and lives six hours away. I even loved it when he brought his TON of dirty clothes home. I got to play "mom" again. I loved every minute of it! Thank you for the homemade brown sugar recipe. I plan to try it out this week! Hugs and happy Sunday, friend. You so inspire me! :)

Just reading "Rudi's Ham Hock Soup" makes me smile. It would have made him smile too knowing Dave made it and you all enjoyed it.
