Bearing Fruit
Poem
The Gardener planted seeds of grace,
And gave my heart a growing place.
Through sun and rain, through joy and strife,
His power brings forth fruit in life.
As I draw near and in Him abide,
His love and truth become my guide.
With patient care, through every day,
He shapes my heart along the way.
Some fruit grows slowly, some takes time,
Not every branch is quick to climb.
But roots held deep in truth and love,
Find strength and hope from God above.
It's not for praise or earthly gain,
Nor proof I've never known the rain.
But that through me the world might see,
The love of Christ alive in me.
And when my days on earth are through,
May others see what God can do.
For every fruit my life may bear,
Reflects the Gardener's faithful care.
“If you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 1:8
