I had coffee with a sweet friend a few weeks ago and we got to talking about a picture her mom had of Jesus. Have you seen the picture which hangs in so many homes of Jesus knocking at the door to a home? If you look closely, you will see that the door has no knob on the outside for Jesus to open. It reminds me that, although Jesus is all-loving and all-merciful, he does not force himself into our lives. Beautiful picture with a beautiful message. Thank-you for sharing this with me Kim.

The door knob is on our side...
I had coffee with a sweet friend a few weeks ago and we got to talking about a picture her mom had of Jesus. Have you seen the picture which hangs in so many homes of Jesus knocking at the door to a home? If you look closely, you will see that the door has no knob on the outside for Jesus to open. Oh my! As many times as I've seen this picture, I never noticed there wasn't a door knob. What a POWERFUL message! Thank you so much for sharing. I needed to see this tonight! HUGS
Words can not express how much it means to me that my Mom's teaching can live on and be shared like this. Thank you so much Chris for reminding me that there is nothing insignificant in our lives that God has an infinite number of ways to share his love and purpose, especially at times when a Mother is teaching her little girl about faith.
