Baytzah---a hard boiled egg. This item was added to the Seder plate by Rabbis after the Passover from Exodus. It's application has been used in several ways, one of which represents the hardness of Pharaoh's heart in resisting the call to let God's people go. --- "Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go." Exodus 8:32 KJV
