So Thankful for His word

God never asks about
our ability
or our inability
just our
availability

I heard the voice of the lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8

Our happiness and success in life are found in fulfilling His plan for our lives. I serve a Holy God.

That is a great quote and so true. Thank you for sharing it. :)
Also, thanks for all of your sweet comments - I am just now trying to get caught up on all my blog reading!

As I get older I feel a compelling desire to do more for the Kingdom. It must be because I have come to realize how little time I have left ahead of me compared to all of the life I have all ready lived.
I want to know that I did things to be part of someone's solution to life. The things I am involved with now are different that the things I did when I was younger.
In many ways being older really takes a lot of life's pressure off of you. BUT when you realize you are in the last chapters of the book and have not done as much with your life as you had hoped to do it gives you a different drive.
I spent years saying "someday I'm going to...." fill in the blanks and someday came and went and now I realize that there are some things that will just never get done. Let me be your cautionary tale my dear Sisters "for the days are short".
Sorry, didn't mean to sound like the "aged" philosopher, just got on a roll with the topic of being used by God......
