Thanksgiving count down...

Thanksgiving dinner is one of my favorite times of the year to entertain and make a big dinner. I do a lot of the preparations the day before and boy does that ever make it so much more relaxing the day of the big event for me.

Day before check list:

Greenery brought in from the out doors washed and displayed all around the home including the bathroom counters with candles.

Stuffing made up an in fridge
Apple pie and cherry pie made night before
Sweet potatoes all mashed and covered with brown sugar and marshmallows ready to throw into the oven as soon as the turkey comes out.
Rolls made the night before and ready to be warmed in the oven next to the sweet potatoes
Tables all set and ready to go
Final clean up before I go to bed

Friends and relatives bringing:

Salads
Sparkling cider
Veggie dishes
Whip cream for pies
