Thanksgiving dinner is one of my favorite times of the year to entertain and make a big dinner. I do a lot of the preparations the day before and boy does that ever make it so much more relaxing the day of the big event for me.Day before check list:
Greenery brought in from the out doors washed and displayed all around the home including the bathroom counters with candles.
Stuffing made up an in fridge
Apple pie and cherry pie made night before
Sweet potatoes all mashed and covered with brown sugar and marshmallows ready to throw into the oven as soon as the turkey comes out.
Rolls made the night before and ready to be warmed in the oven next to the sweet potatoes
Tables all set and ready to go
Final clean up before I go to bed
Friends and relatives bringing:
Salads
Sparkling cider
Veggie dishes
Whip cream for pies

Have a wonderful day. Sounds like you have everything in order. Enjoy the big day. We are celebrating on Saturday due to my niece and her husband having to work on Thanksgiving day. That is fine, as long as we are together. My house is all decorated for Christmas already and I am enjoying my girls being at home. Love & blessings from NC!

I think it is awesome that you have a day of giving thanks. I have been playing with the idea of starting it in our home. there is just so much to be thankful for.
