There are a few quick ways to blow those dark clouds right out of your dark days.
Start by surrounding yourself with happy and upbeat people along with happy and upbeat songs.
Unfortunately there are days when we can't do anything about the negative people around us but we certainly can fill our minds with happy and upbeat music. I personally listen to a lot of praise music through out my days here and it sure can give a boring day of house work a whole new attitude!
The other day I had the pleasure of having lunch with my friend, Bonnie. Isn't she a sweet heart!!! Look what she had on her chalk board! How can I not just love this gal?! She even had a picture of a Pug for me next to my lunch plate! The lunch she made for us was delicious too!
During my visit with her she shared with me this
talented young lady who she just happens to be related to. I am told that this young singers husband
is also a very talented singer as well (Tyron Wells). His sister actually
wrote and sang a song for my husband and mines wedding...did you get all
that? This family flows with talent.
Small world.
Back to my point here....
It really is amazing how quickly a dark cloud can be blown right out of your day with the simple gesture of spending time with positive people and don't forget to turn up the music!
If I did this right you should be able to click here and watch and hear this cute and fun little song.
I have been tapping my foot to this one since last week.

Just seeing that on the chalkboard would brighten my day. This friend sounds lovely. I'm glad you two had a nice visit. My post today is similar to yours. I guess we must be thinking alike.

Christine! I LOVE your uplifting blog! YOur header is such a happy reminder to keep in touch with our Father! And thanks for the great words about surrounding ourselves with positive people!
I am thrilled to find you! I would follow, but can't find a follow button!
blessings,

It's true, what you surround yourself with has a drastic affect on how you go about your day. Not only that, but the attitude you present is directly caused by the people, music, shows, etc. that you involve in your day-to-day life. I'm currently listening to the linked song you posted and my feet are bouncing up and down.. reminds me of my mother! :) Love you, ma.
