My First Give -A-Way!

The Month of love!

I found these cute little towel sets at the store the other day and thought they'd make cute little Valentines gifts. My mom was the first to receive a set this month! I bought this cute little coloring book at the dollar store with bears and hearts in it. I copied one of the little bears onto all my plain white towels and embroidered him onto them.

So Guess what I am doing with my last one?

That's right...!
I am giving it to one of you!

I have taken part in the give aways in bloggy land and even Won one. So I figure it is time to share the love with one of you - And what a better time to share the Love than in February!

~ I'd Love it if you'd add yourself to my blog friends list so I can come visit you as well.

~ Leave a comment on this blog if you'd like to be added to the drawing.

~ I'd Love to learn of some fun Valentines traditions you have as well!

Oh - Did I mention Chocolate??? Yessss I will even send you one of our families favorites as well...I will wrap up for you and your family members our Valentines Milk Chocolate bars! So leave me a number as to how many are in your family. {let me clarify} Your immediate family...lol

I will have the husband pull a name out of the Hat This Friday! I want to get this to you before Valentines day...so my plan is to mail it off to you this coming Saturday!

~ enjoy

You slept through the Superbowl!!..so funny! Your give away is so awesome..thanks for letting me know. Sign me up, please! I've been busy with other stuff, not reading up much on the blogs today. My tradition is a box of my favorite chocolates (all creams) from Wertz's Chocolates. I posted on them a while back....and I usually make a seafood dinner for my Men.

Woohoo..I love giveaways...and love having them also...I think I am about to have one before to long also. Love your cute towel!

So for tradtions...will you believe when you had your boxes on 360 I started that tradition myself all because of how much fun you have with them...hehehe and also we started our first year having a halloween party cause yours looked like lots of fun.

Umm the chocolates...well there are three of us but I don't eat chocolate...ok head laying low cause everyone thinks I am crazy not to...I just don't eat it. So I guess two then would be my family cause hubby and Henry love it. They hide it from each other, it's that bad....hehehe

I bought the small tubs from Walmart last year and did the notes and other little things...it was fun!

Also you can go to this blog and send Hedi a message in her comments and I am sure she will get back to you real quick...she did me the last swap I did with her and it was over the deadline cause you have people that sign up just by coming upon her blog.

Forgot to put my tradition.....go to the store on the 15th of February and get all the candy I want at a discount of at least 50% and usually more and just enjoy.

Hi Chrissy! Woohoo - A give-way! And cute and yummy stuff no less. So put my name in the hat please. Let's see. We give the kids valentine's and treats and Carl and I go out on a date sometime close to Valentine's. Not always right on that day. We also get each other a yummy treat and sometimes a gift. I usually get flowers. It's all good! Hugs, Jax (And of course you know how many chocolate bars to send.) :O)

Awww, how cute! :) What a great job you did embroidering!

Our traditions kind of last throughout the month, & we make it a family holiday. Each year we pick something different to eat, too. Last year we had "fondue night" - we had steak tips to dip in some kind cheese, salad, and also pretzels, marshmallows, and fruit to dip in chocolate fondue. It was a lot of fun, but kind of messy, so I think we'll do something different this year. lol :)
I hope you're doing ok & your mom is doing ok. Hugs!

Christine,
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog. I guess it's a common human failing, to think we can do it all ourselves and only turn to our faith when we finally wise up and realize we can't! I love your little hamster analogy; very apt.

Hi Christine!
thanks for the compliment on my banner.....I'm going to try and make some more this year. And count me in on your bloggy love giveaway!

Ooo! Sign me up! How courteous of you to include a towel with the chocolates, so the winner has something to wipe the chocolate drool off her face.....

Valentine traditions...my dad has given me a box of chocolates every year since I was born and that is my favorite. We put a little heart shaped candy box on each plate at breakfast on Valentine's morning. Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday, so I try to make special Valentine's for my friends, with corny sayings and goofy pictures.

I love going to the mailbox and pulling out envelopes in pink and red, with hearts on them and loving sentiments inside. I keep them all year and when I'm having a rough day, I pull out the Valentines and reread them.

Glad you didn't spend the weekend washing, folding and putting away...!

What fun! We don't really have any traditions now that the kids are grown. We don't even try to go out any more to dinner as it's too crazy. My hubby and I may meet for lunch or have a special candle lit dinner at home. I'd love to win your give away. Only 2 of us at home now. Connie

Creativity abounds with you, Girl!! I am totally signing up for this gave away as embroidered tea towels are a favorite!! They remind me of my beautiful Gram. Anyway, we have 4 family members here at the Zydonis home...I won't count Lexi as chocolate and dogs do not mix! :D My tradition for my family is homemade valentines. I add their faces to silly bodies, etc and write out what I love about each one...their unique attributes, special things I have noticed, etc. They all LOVE them (esp. my sweet husband!! :D) David & Kymi each have a heart shaped cloth bag that hangs off their dinner chairs where goodies are placed. This year I am going to make your fortune cookies and we will have a yummy Chinese dinner as well... (I usually dust off a cute little nighty for Valentines eve as well... I figure once a year my cozy cottons can have the night off!! :D)

Chocolate? Did I hear chocolate? lol This is my first time visiting your blog ~ I came by way of Ruthann's! Every Valentine's Day since the kids were little I set the table with our finest dishes, have flowers in the center, a little gift on each plate, and a little love note handwritten for each one:) My babies are all grown up, but the tradition continues with me and my hubby!

Christine - thanks for stopping by my blog. I love all the recipes that you have here. I will be back to copy. I love a give-a-way, so sign me up. There are 5 in my family. The only thing that I do at Valentine's Day - it just happens to be my birthday - is leave a little present by everyone's dish in the morning.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for stopping by and visting my blog, and for the sweet comment.

Let's see Valentine traditions, honestly we don't have any. I guess the closest thing is trying to suprise our daughter with her love gift. We put it out on the kitchen table so it's waiting for her when she comes to get breakfast in the am.

Look forward to visiting you again.

:)Carol
