Tea Biscuits
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 cup milk
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease a baking sheet.
2.Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Cut butter in until mixture has a fine crumb texture.
3. Beat 1 egg in 1 cup of milk. Stir in milk with a fork to make a
soft dough. Knead a few times.
4. Roll out on floured surface to a thickness of at least 1/2 inch to 1 inch.
5. Cut into rounds with a cookie cutter or glass.
6. Place on cookie sheet, and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.

Tea biscuits are on my menu tonight and I think now I may use my heart shaped cutter for them. It is such a sweet idea :)
