This is such a wonderful way to share Christmas cookies with a special message with friends and family. I am going to make these cookies and attach a star cookie cutter along with this recipe to it to share with my neighbors.

How neat - I've never seen that before. I'll definitely have to bookmark this. ;)
I love this idea! Your blog looks great too, I love the new photo links in your sidebar. (I have been behind on keeping up with my blog friends!)
Anyway, keep those great ideas coming!!
I attended a wedding several years ago where there was a Heart Cookie Cutter at each place setting.....attached was a message attached with a lace ribbon. I don't remember the message, but I still have the cookie cutter hanging in my kitchen..the couple has since divorced, but I still have my cookie cutter:)) What a great and simple gift...Happy Holidays

Do you know that my children could tell you the number of home baked cookies they have had out of my kitchen?
I made beautiful Maple Bars, Cinnamon Rolls, Indian Fry Bread and totally messed up every batch of cookies I ever tried to make. When we lived in Timberlane there was a really strange, dysfunctional lady that lived behind me and she made the most amazing zucchini cookies. So I asked her for the recipe.....total disaster and I never tried again. I thought "with her problems, and she makes these great cookies, what chance do I have" and I haven't tried since.
