Fun week end with fun friends

I went over and spent the day with Diana and Barb at Barbs house to work on two projects, one our Christmas house which turned out so cute and our Thanksgiving banner. I will post our Christmas house's tomorrow but for today I will show ya how we made our Thanksgiving banner.

The three of us took a little field trip to the scrapbook store, craft store and ended up with Starbucks before heading back to Barbs house.

I bought 5 sheets of dark brown paper (12X12) and about five other sheets (12X12) of other paper to add to my brown paper. You can use paper you have at home, this is just to give you an idea of how much we used for this project.

You will need eleven cards if you want to spell out "Give thanks" plus one for a space inbetween give and thanks, making it 11 cards.

Cut 11 - 4 1/2 X 6 out of the dark brown.
Cut 11 - 3 3/4 X 5 1/2 for your paper to adhere to the brown
Cut 11 - 3 1/2 X 3 3/4 this will be the last paper you put in the middle

I chalked the edges of all my paper. With a paper hole punch I added two holes to the top of every card to slip my ribbon through. I stenciled a letter on each card with a black felt marker and embellished each card with fun fall stickers.

Thank-you Barb for the great meals you fed us along with the pumpkin cheese cake!

Have fun!

I'm really thinking a Christams one would be fun along with one for Birthdays as well! Enjoy!
