Coffee Filter book

What I loved about this little craft idea is that each page is a pocket for more pictures and journaling! What a great use for all those extra left over coffee filters! Some coffee filters, ribbon, and decorative paper to glue on top of all the filters along with two rings to hold the book together. I have made other themes as well, Birthdays, Easter and friendship books. The sky and your imagination is the limit!

I made this last year and added all my cute Christmas pictures on all the pages along with some journaling. It's fun and easy,... a little time consuming,...but oh so worth it!

I would like to know more about how to do this? Is this your idea or could I find more directions on the Internet? It is a very good project.

I am thinking about making another one for a gift...I'll take pictures step by step. Really all I did was take a coffee filter for my pattern and started cutting out the paper and then gluing it to the filter, front and back and then decorated each page one by one. Coming up with your paper and theme was the toughest part really. I was thinking of making one for each of my kids with some of their school days and sports etc. Like a little memory book for them, yet small.

I see, so it's just the filters covered on the outside with decorative paper and fastened together on the small end. So then you can still things into the wider end. Am I right about the construction? If it was fabric I would have some made all ready but not so much with paper. Thanks!

yes p dot that is right, itis paper and it is cut and glued on each side and then the wider ends open up as little pockets to put other things in such as pictures and journaling. Wow never thought about fabric, but why not? I guess you really could. I have paper but no fabric. I have been trying really hard to use up all my spare paper here.
