Cute Homemade Gift Bag

This little frame is only 5"x8" and so I just needed a small little gift bag. Of course, when I need a small little gift bag, I can not find a small little gift bag.

So, to my scrapbook paper pile, I went....

Here is the paper and ribbon I came up with.

I turned the paper over and on the back of it with my ruler and pencil I drew these dimensions.

Here are the measurements I used. You can change them to make what ever size bag you need.

I folded the top of my paper over about 1/4 of an inch so that I would have a more finished looking edge to my bag.
At the bottom you can see where I cut in between the bottom sections of my paper.
I then folded inward where all the lines are.

I folded it like a box and used a glue stick to glue down all my edges.
After the glue dried I then took a hole punch and made two holes in the front and two holes in the back of my bag. Thus allowing me to add ribbon for my handles.
Just pull the ribbon through the hole and tie a knot.

So here is a picture of my little frame and bag. My sister in law printed up these cute verses and bought these little frames at the dollar store. She gave me one along with an extra one and so I will use this for a door prize at our Ladies dinner that is coming up at the end of the month.

Here is a picture of the frame inside of my little bag.
Perfect fit!
I think it would look really cute with a little round pink gift tag hanging off the front of the bag.
