Paper Shreds Turned into Basket

Needed:

Shredded paper from the shredder
Glue (I used Elmer's Glue)
Water
Bowl
Plastic wrap
Plastic grocery bag

Put the plastic over your bowl (the size of your bowl will determine the size of your basket).
Add one part water to one part glue into another bowl
Dip your shredded paper into the water glue mixture until saturated and then begin pressing the paper firmly around your bowl that is covered with plastic.

Put the bowl in a safe place to dry and wait. Mine took about twenty four hours. Towards the end I put it on top of my heat vent to dry a little faster.

Once the paper mache is dry carefully lift it off of the bowl.

I was thinking about spray painting the basket but I'm kind of liking the colors of the shredded paper.

A sweet little nest

The tough part will be determining who will live in this new little nest....

I am imperfect and fallen {all of us are} yet picked up and brushed off with His Grace.

Linking up with Tatertots and Jello this week end.
Come by and see all the creative ideas.

{The people speaking the kind words probably won't even remember them in years to come. But the recipient will remember it always. I know I do.}
