{happy} week-end wanderings

Flowers brought home for no reason other than, 'I thought you'd like these.'
He is who I am married to and I want to make sure I never take him for granted, I am grateful.

Yeah, I certainly caught more than the sniffles from a sickly visit from a college daughter who had to come visit last week end...I still love her. I would like to think that her devotion was to spend time with us but I think it had more to do with a boyfriend who will be leaving for Italy for two years. I wonder if he is going to be sick next? I wish them the very best...I really do....
!ahhh choo!

Not only did I wake up to a stuffed up nose/ worst head cold in years, but also, this wonderful patch of sunshine coming through my front room window...Hallelujah for sunshine in Seattle!

I of course will have to enjoy it from inside, this week end.

Some fun projects for the week end here...

One job today...clean off top of refrigerator...done!
I am always in awe of the things I can collect on top of my frig.

Brought these branches and flowers in from the garden.

Working on this today as well....making two. One will be a long pillow for living room couch and the other will be framed on hall wall. I have been enjoying working with wool.

Proverbs 31:13 She seeketh willingly wool and flax and worketh with her hands.

While working with hands this week-end I have been listening to this.

Happy week-end wanderings.

I was watching the little video, and it surprised me when he was talking about the percentage of children being raised without a dad today. I really like the saying that is on your wool project, and how sweet of your husband to bring you flowers...just because.
