Most {Beautiful} Summer

It was here and now it is gone...

this season of this most beautiful Summer...

oh where did you go?

No matter how fast these Seasons come and go...
I will continue to press forward and....
be a part of a gratitude journey.

Thankful for;

Sons and fathers....
a son who stops by to check in on mom and dad

These dainty flowers that bloom in a quiet corner of the garden

Friday evenings and home made pizza along with...

a lazy night with the family...

just being.

 Week ends in the city...
and simply catching up.

 Fall flowers bloom

 Morning studies on the deck

 More cupcakes

Red peppers in the garden

    Uncle Bob

Evening dinners on the deck

 Summer grilling

 Evening games
 Hot tea
Candles at night

Flowers picked up on the way from home from a thoughtful husband

Last walk around a college journey begins

 Purple daisy
Frogs in the pond
Squirrels running along the fence

Dinner out with neighbors

Birds drinking and taking their baths
Sounds of splashing water
Birds chirping
Babies leaving  their nest

 Pug looks

Dinner out with daughter and old school friend

 Summer harvest shared with many

Flames of a camp fire

 Home made Jam
Plums from the tree

Evenings on the deck with older son
A family pet

The husband makes Ribs for a crowd

Summer evenings shared with neighbors and friends

Bible study and dinner on the back deck

Apples and apple pies

"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my hand with oil; My cup over flows."
Psalm 23:5

~enjoy the moments in gratitude.

You have so much to be thankful for, and I love all these pictures. Your family is wonderful. The homemade pizza looks yummy. When my son wanted to be a chef, he made us homemade pizza sometimes and we enjoyed it so much. The apple pies, and the birds singing, and family surrounding us; all these things are so precious. Yes, we are blessed indeed. Have a beautiful week, my friend.

Thank you for the glimpse into your life and for reminders of how much I have that I am thankful for.
