Fall {Study}

Genesis 1:1-5

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

"Holiness is about pleasing God, about living in such a way that it's clear that you and I belong to God. Holiness is what makes the believer unique and easily distinguishable." ~K. Arthur

Just had our first ladies "Fall" bible study at our home this morning. Since we are in the beginning of a new season I can't think of a better place to start then in the beginning of Genesis.

We are embarking on the study of what it is to be holy, to truly live like we belong to God.

 Notice up in vs.4, "God seperated the light from darkness." God's first "act" was to separate the physical light from the physical darkness.
Spiritually speaking, He has been separating light and darkness ever since.
I am so excited and thankful to God for this study, not to mention, spending time in fellowship with his daughters.

I have always wanted to do a Bible Study class. It is a chance to meet special women too. But for now, I will just speak to God in the stillness of my own heart, and watch, listen, and hear Him speak back to me.
