Most Dangerous Chocolate Cake Ever!

Do you know what is better than one of these dangerous cakes?

Two of them!

Why? You ask, is this the most dangerous chocolate cake?

Because you only need one mug....

A few ingredients...

And only 3 minutes in the microwave! Now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

OK, you have been warned...... If you are like me and weak when it comes to chocolate, (I have eaten chocolate covered garlic and ants, and would probably lower the bar to eating my old running shoes if someone dunked them in some chocolate) you might want to stop reading right now and leave this post if you think this will ruin your calorie intake for the day!

So here it is ...the recipe for 5 minute chocolate cake in a mug aka "The most dangerous cake recipe in this world!"

Chocolate mug Cake

Add these ingredients into your mug;

4 T. Flour
4 T. sugar
2 T. cocoa
1 egg
3 T. milk
3 T. oil
3 T. chocolate chips
A small splash vanilla extract

Now mix well.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for three minutes at 1000 watts. (mine is a little less than 1000 watts so I added another minute and it was perfect. Looks a little wet on the out side and that is fine. The cake will rise over the top of your mug but don't be alarmed. Allow to cool , and tip out onto plate if desired. Add some vanilla ice cream and you are set to go!

Now I need to go on my three mile run that has been increased to 6 miles today since I didn't share mine with anyone!

~ enjoy

Thanks Barb, for lunch Tuesday and this recipe - I loved it! Hugssss

I love this recipe and can vouch for it's danger : )

I put the dry ingredients in a small cello bag in a pretty microwave safe Christmas mug as little gifts for some friends this year. It's a hit with chocolate lovers everywhere!

Joyce, what a wonderful gift idea! see I am so tuned into my own selfishness when it comes to chocolate, I never for a moment thought of this as something to share!....lol

Lol at your comment Chris! And this was a completely evil post. Ha!! So, you'll like this one... Linda and I were finally on our flight back to Anchorage and everything was looking good. Then the pilot comes on 45 minutes from landing and says, "I've got bad news." Yep. Can't land in good ol' Anchor town because of another burp from Mt. Redoubt. Linda and I give each other that deflated look across the aisle then I blurt out (for everyone around me to hear), "Does anyone have chocolate?! Anyone?" No one seemed to hear (the crazy lady). Linda and I cracked up though so that made the bad news a little more fun. :) Don't you know that when we diverted to Fairbanks for 6 hours (sheesh!) we found some brownie chocolate goodness. :) Hugs, Jax

Oh my goodness. Seriously, did you HAVE to do this? I gave chocolate up for Lent and then you post something like this - I didn't know you could be so cruel! :)

It looks great though and I think I will make it for my kiddos one day for a snack soon, and I'll be the best momma around! (Better than a round momma...)

:)

You are a truly wicked woman, unleashing this recipe on unsuspecting blog readers! (And that's why I like you...)

I think you could call it Therapy in a Cup. I'm going to try it tomorrow during naptime. Then when the kids ask, I can truly and honestly say, "It's all gone!"

(And I used a sliver of my soap tonight...I have never had such girly soap, and I feel positively glamorous! Just what I needed after spending time with the guys in the barn. Thank you, thank you!)

Oh my goodness, Christine! There are nights when we are scouring the pantry looking for sweets and can't find anything. You're right, this is dangerous! lol But I'm so glad to have it just in case I have a chocolate 911! Love to you - happy Easter!

WOW, that's amazing! As a college kid whose only form of cooking is a microfridge, I can REALLY appreciate that. And I love chocolate. I should probably pretend I never saw this, but it's too great to pass up... You should check out springpad - it's a great way to organize and simplify everything, from recipes to meal plans to home organization... I think you'd really like it!
