A Very Berry Summer

Got toast?

I love peaches, I adore peaches and right now I am salivating just looking at this picture of my peaches from the tree in my back yard this summer.

You can't hear these jars but if you could you'd hear them singing with glee... all full of different fruits and berries.
And if I were to confess right here, right now...I'd have to tell you that several of these peaches were eaten before they could even make it to the great big Jam Boiling Pot...but I don't have that picture for you and in all honesty I didn't really even have to confess that.

If you have never made Jam before I encourage you to go to the store and buy Sure-Jell fruit pectin in the box and follow their simple instructions for making Jam. Simply easy and delicious.

I had a little upset from the counter and it was not a pretty sight. I really thought I could lure the Pug to the scene of the crime and have him at the very least help clean up this mess... I am sad to report, that the family dog, was no help what so ever!

After the jam making is all done, it is then time to wrap them up in a special way and share them with those you love and those who are very hard to shop for as well.

Happy Birthday Dad! Not that you are hard to shop for, well kind of, but you are for sure... very special!

I hope all my friends and family here had a wonderful and safe Summer break!

I love homemade jam--making it, eating it and the way it looks in canning jars all lined up on a pantry shelf!
