Something {new}

The ingredients: 1 lb ground beef or turkey, taco seasoning, shredded cheese, Crescent Rolls original (the triangle ones), shredded lettuce, salsa and sour cream.

Brown ground beef/turkey and mix with taco seasoning according to package directions. Drain. Add in a handful (about 1 cup) shredded cheese and mix together. Cheese will melt in mixture.

Roll out Crescent Rolls leaving two triangles together to make a rectangle. One package of Crescent Rolls makes 4 bundles.

Place approx. 1/3 cup of mixture in the center of rectangle and bring opposite corners of Crescent Rolls together and seal on top by pushing gently together. Repeat with opposite corners to form your bundle or square.

Seal middle seam by pressing them together.
Place on baking sheet and put into preheated oven. Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Garnish with shredded lettuce, salsa and sour cream. Add a little of the garnish with every bite of taco square.

I needed an inspiration for lunch...thank you! And I just bought crescent rolls for the first time in about two years, so this is perfect.

I was thinking that even some fruit in them would be good as well. I hope you enjoy them...we sure did.

This is one I'll have to try. We like anything with a mexican flavor.
